TOEM 2 Release Date, Time & Price
September 29, 2026 — confirmed on both Steam and the PlayStation Store. The PS Store also lists an exact unlock time, which most listings leave out.
When does TOEM 2 come out?
September 29, 2026.
Two official storefronts agree, and both were checked on August 19, 2026:
- The Steam store page lists
Sep 29, 2026as the planned release date, with the banner "This game plans to unlock in approximately 5 weeks." - The PlayStation Store listing shows the game as Announced with "Releases on: 9/29/2026".
The developer's own release-date trailer, published in early August 2026, says the same: "Snap up TOEM 2 starting September 29, 2026."
What time does TOEM 2 unlock?
This is where the PlayStation Store is more useful than Steam. Steam only shows a date; the PS Store shows a timestamp — 9/29/2026 at 21:00 GMT+8.

Two caveats worth stating plainly. First, this timestamp comes from the PlayStation Store, so it is the PlayStation unlock time; Steam and the Nintendo eShop set their own unlock schedules and have not published one. Second, storefronts do move unlock times before launch. If it changes, this page changes.
Wasn't it supposed to release in summer?
Yes, and this is a real point of confusion worth clearing up.
The Nintendo of America trailer from roughly five months ago says "TOEM 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch in summer 2026." The developer's own platforms trailer from the same period says "coming this Summer to Nintendo Switch, PS5 and PC."
The date was later set to September 29, 2026. So if you remember a summer window, you are not misremembering — that was the earlier public wording, and the specific date came afterwards.
How much does TOEM 2 cost?
No price has been announced. This is not us failing to find it: the Steam store API returns no price field for the game at all, and the PlayStation Store listing shows no price either. For an unreleased title, that means the developer has not set one publicly yet.
For reference only — and this is the first game's price, not the sequel's — TOEM: A Photo Adventure is $19.99 USD on Steam.
Anyone publishing a specific price for TOEM 2 right now is guessing. When an official price appears, it will be added here with the source.
Is there a preorder?
Neither store page currently offers a preorder. Steam shows an "Add to your wishlist" button rather than a purchase option, and the PlayStation Store listing is a concept page with a wishlist action rather than a product page.
Is there a physical edition?
Not announced. In the comments under the official release-date trailer, a player asked the developer to "do a physical release like you did for the first game" — but that is a player request with no developer reply attached, not a plan. Treat any store listing claiming a TOEM 2 physical edition with suspicion until Something We Made says so.
