TOEM 2 Gameplay, Stamps and Camera
The confirmed links between photography, stamps, region access and camera tools, plus the tutorial-Tato compendium exception.
Stamps: how progression works
The Steam description connects earning stamps with quests, documenting discoveries and expanding the critter compendium. Stamps are used to unlock the next region. No threshold table is supplied in that description, so it does not prove that every optional task is mandatory.
The camera and its attachments
Photography is used for puzzles and documenting discoveries; attachments also help solve regional problems. The demo description specifically names the screwdriver tool in Deltburg. This establishes one example without implying that it is the only attachment in the full game.
Movement and exploration
Running, jumping and climbing are described on Steam. The developer website emphasizes jumping and climbing as changes for the sequel and describes friends who may join the journey and affect its story and ending. It does not provide an ending count or a branching-route guide.
Accessibility and pacing
The full game's Steam listing carries these accessibility features: Subtitle Options, Custom Volume Controls, Camera Comfort, a Keyboard Only Option, Save Anytime with Steam Cloud, and the tag Playable without Timed Input. Verified on September 20, 2026.
These labels identify the support listed on Steam, rather than explain each setting. This wiki has not tested the options in play.
Critters, achievements and completion
Steam names a critter compendium and lists Steam Achievements as a supported feature. The store description presents completion as something players can approach at their own pace. That is not evidence of a particular collectible count, a complete achievement list or a rule that nothing can ever be missed.
One compendium edge case has an official answer. A demo player asked why a Tato they photographed did not register as a critter; on July 26, 2026 the developer replied on the Steam board that the Tato in the tutorial level exists to give the player something to photograph while learning the game, and is not a compendium entry. Treat that as covering the tutorial Tato only — it says nothing about Tatos elsewhere, nor about any other creature that fails to register.
The regions page collects the places with concrete official previews. Stamp locations, individual critter entries and achievement solutions will need their own evidence before becoming checklists.
