TOEM 2 Platforms and Switch 2 Details
PC, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2 and PS5; Nintendo publishes specific ownership and save-data notes.
Which platforms is TOEM 2 on?
| Platform | Official evidence |
|---|---|
| Windows, macOS and Linux | Steam lists all three desktop operating systems |
| Nintendo Switch | Nintendo’s product page lists a September 29 release |
| Nintendo Switch 2 | The same Nintendo page describes a corresponding Switch 2 version and its save restrictions |
| PlayStation 5 | The developer website links to the PlayStation Store |
Is TOEM 2 on Nintendo Switch 2?
Yes. Nintendo’s US product page includes a Switch 2 version in its publisher notes, alongside compatibility information for running the Switch game on Switch 2. Those are two distinct pieces of information; backward compatibility alone would not establish a separate version.
The publisher notes state that Switch owners are eligible for a 100% owner discount on the corresponding version on the other platform. They also state that save data is not compatible between the Switch and Switch 2 versions, in either direction. Check the offer on your regional Nintendo store before choosing a version. PC system requirements
Steam currently lists Windows 7 or later as the game’s minimum OS and Windows 11 as recommended. The same store page warns that the Steam client supports Windows 10 and later. The game’s old OS field is therefore not a reason to plan a new Steam installation on Windows 7.
The macOS field says 10.12+. Linux lists Ubuntu 16.04/18.04, an x64 processor with SSE2 and OpenGL 3.2+ or Vulkan-capable graphics. These are the publisher’s store fields, not a compatibility test of this wiki’s own. Source: Steam requirements.
Before relying on the Mac demo for a play session, read the developer’s demo troubleshooting history. For the handheld announcement, see Steam Deck.
Xbox and subscription services
The official pages checked here do not announce an Xbox release or Game Pass inclusion. An absent Xbox version does not, by itself, answer the separate PC Game Pass question. The Xbox page keeps that distinction explicit.
