Is TOEM 2 Coming to Xbox?
No. As of August 2026 the developer has not announced an Xbox version. The confirmed list is PC, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2 and PlayStation 5.
Short answer
No Xbox version of TOEM 2 has been announced.
This is not "we could not find one" — it is a specific absence. The developer published a complete platform list, and Xbox is not on it.
What the developer actually said
The release-date trailer on Something We Made's own YouTube channel, published in early August 2026, states the platform list in one sentence:
Snap up TOEM 2 starting September 29, 2026 on PC, Nintendo Switch 1 + 2, and PlayStation 5!
That is four platforms. Xbox is absent from a list the developer wrote themselves, which is different from a list assembled by a third party that might simply be incomplete.

Does that mean Xbox is ruled out forever?
No, and it would be dishonest to say otherwise. An absence today is not a permanent exclusion — publishers add platforms after launch all the time, sometimes years later.
What can be said accurately:
- Xbox is not part of the day-one launch on September 29, 2026
- No Xbox release has been announced for any later date either
- There is no Xbox store page to wishlist
If that changes, this page changes.
What about the first game?
The first game is on Xbox. Searching the Xbox store for TOEM returns TOEM: A Photo Adventure at $19.99, checked August 23, 2026. So the studio has shipped on the platform before.
That history is a reason not to treat the sequel's Xbox absence as final — but it is history, not an announcement. It tells you the studio can ship on Xbox, not that it will for this game, and it says nothing about timing.
Community guides from 2023–2024 also refer to the first game being available through Game Pass at some point. We have not been able to confirm that from an official Microsoft source, so treat it as community recollection rather than fact — and note that Game Pass catalogues rotate regardless.
What Xbox players can do right now
- Wishlist elsewhere and wait. There is nothing Xbox-side to sign up for yet.
- Play the free demo on PC. The TOEM 2 demo is free on Steam and covers part of the Deltburg region. Full details on the demo page.
- Watch the official channels. Any platform addition would be announced on the official site or the developer's Discord first.
Is it on Game Pass?
Not announced. Game Pass availability requires an Xbox or PC Game Pass release, and neither has been confirmed for TOEM 2.
Note that PC Game Pass is technically possible without an Xbox console version — but that has not been announced either.
